We encompass autonomous and collaborative care of individuals of all ages, families, groups and communities, sick or well and in all settings. We prepare the nurses who are hands-on health professionals; they provide focused, highly personalized care, promote health, prevent diseases and help patients cope with illness. Thus they have a unique scope of practice and can practice independently.
